The accumulation of chlorophyll and changes of ATP during greening of etiolated Arabidopsis seedlings are mediated by nitric oxide

Seedling greening upon irradiance is essential for the survival of plant after germination. Here, we studied role nitric oxide (NO) in regulating accumulation chlorophyll during Arabidopsis seedlings, and also investigated changes ATP chloroplast cytoplasm by using a fluorescent protein sensor (Ateam 1.03-nD/nA) based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) effects NO content. The results showed that content NO, chlorophyll, increased with increase time. L-NAME, an inhibitor not only decreased but reduced seedlings. Therefore, these experiments indicate etiolated seedlings are mediated oxide.
